The Menu Collection, one of the Los Angeles Public Library’s Special Collections, was started in the 1980s by librarian Billie Connor-Dominguez. Currently, there are over 17,000 menus in the collection; among them, a menu for a banquet held in honor of Albert Einstein at the Ambassador Hotel in 1931, and a 1983 menu for Ajeti’s Albanian Natural Food Restaurant in Hermosa Beach.
